Register Now - GPS Run for Fun and a Morning of Fun and Healthy Connections - February 22nd at Campo Verde High
Gilbert Public Schools (GPS), in partnership with the Gilbert Education Foundation (GEF), invites everyone to a morning of health and fun at Campo Verde High School on Saturday, February 22, 2025. The activities kick off with the Run for Fun at 7:30 am followed by the Healthy Connections Expo 9 am - 12 pm, offering a variety of fun activities and resources for families in Gilbert and Mesa.
GPS Run for Fun - Register Today
The 8th Annual GPS Run for Fun is a community event that promotes healthy lifestyles and supports student success. Open to all, participants can choose to complete a 5K or 1 mile route, either running or walking, all designed to promote physical well-being.

Proceeds from the Run 4 Fun will benefit the Gilbert Education Foundation, which supports enrichment programs that enhance the educational experience for students and staff in Gilbert Public Schools. GPS and GEF will also award schools with the highest number of participants $500, which can be used to help students and teachers acquire essential classroom supplies.
Check-in for the Run for Fun begins at 7:30 AM on the Campo Verde High football field. The 5k will begin at 7:30 AM while the 1-mile walk/run starts at 8:45 AM. An awards ceremony for the races will be held in the courtyard at the center of Campo Verde High’s campus, where a live DJ will announce winners for each age group.
Healthy Connections Expo
The inaugural Healthy Connections Expo will be a fun morning out for the family with many activities, food trucks, and entertainment as well as a showcase of the diverse range of enrichment programs offered by GPS Community Education. Throughout the Expo, exciting raffle prizes will be awarded, including a week of summer camp, free enrichment classes, discounts on preschool tuition, and more. Families will have the opportunity to explore a variety of programs, including those offered by Preschool Programs, VIK Club, Parent University, and Community Ed as a whole while taking part in fun activities. 12 enrichment program vendors will be on-site, offering interactive demonstrations of their classes and distributing promotional materials. The Expo will provide families with valuable information and opportunities to connect with resources that can enhance their children's learning and development.

"This event provides a valuable chance for families to explore their interests, connect with vendors, and learn about the enriching programs available to students."
Community Resource Fair
Hosted by GPS Parent University, The Community Resource Fair will connect families with valuable resources available within the Gilbert and Mesa community to support their well-being. Attendees can explore a variety of resources, from local organizations offering support services to community groups focused on family enrichment. The Resource Fair will feature interactive booths, informative presentations, and opportunities to connect with local experts.
