Teacher Spotlight - Marion Connett, Kindergarten | Schedule a Tour!

Hello! My name is Marion Connett, and I am proud to be a Kindergarten teacher at Superstition Springs Elementary. With 11 years of teaching experience, my mission is to foster a true love for learning in every child who walks through my door.
I love guiding my students to reach their goals, and the growth we see by the end of the year is incredible. My goal is to help them build the intrinsic motivation they need to become lifelong learners!
One of my favorite moments this year was when every single one of my students passed their letter names and sounds goal! We were all so proud of the hard work they put in. We had a huge class celebration with treats and a few competitive rounds of letter bingo to celebrate their success.
As both a teacher and a mom, my advice is to stay current with what your child is learning and support them at home. Set small goals in areas where they might be struggling and make sure to celebrate every victory together, no matter how small!
I have a very special connection to this community. I grew up right here in Gilbert! I am a proud graduate of Mesquite High School and Arizona State University (Go Sun Devils!).
When I’m not in the classroom, I’m usually spending time with my family, friends, and my dog. I love playing the piano, working out, dancing, and going to movies or museums. I also love traveling and catching a live concert whenever I can! I am truly passionate about teaching and so proud to be part of the supportive staff here at Superstition Springs.
Kindergarten enrollment is now open! To learn more about joining our amazing community at Superstition Springs, visit SuperstitionSprings.GilbertSchools.net/Kindergarten.
