Welcome, to General Music!
In our music class we will cover all aspects of music. These aspects include but are not limited to singing, playing instruments, exploring different musical styles and cultures, dancing, analyzing musical genres, and understanding basic music notation and rhythms. We will also have the opportunity to practice and perform musical selections in concert form. Children have a natural love for music, and I hope in our music class their love for music will grow and develop in many ways! Here's to a great year!

About Me

Hi! My name is Rachel Freeman. I am excited to be the new general music teacher here at SSE. This is my very first year as a teacher and I am loving it so far! I received my Bachelor's Degree from Arizona State University in Music Education and my main instrument is voice. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband, singing, taking care of my dog, riding horses, swimming, enjoying the outdoors and soaking up time with my immediate family and friends. I look forward to getting to know the SSE community throughout the year! Teaching is my passion. :-)
